Wind rose diagrams for Colima from 2015. Wind data were downloaded from NOAA Reanalysis2 (NOAA, 2015). The coloured bars indicate the frequency of counts (%) in the direction the wind is blowing, and the colours correspond to wind speeds. There is strong seasonal variation in wind direction between the summer months and winter months, with dominantly westerly and south-westerly winds in November to April, and dominantly easterly winds in June to September. May and October are variable reflecting the seasonal change in wind direction
