Composite indices summarizing (a) the amount of developed land and number of residents, employees, public venues, and dependent-care facilities in lahar-hazard zones, (b) the percentage of the community total of each of these variables in lahar-hazard zones, and (c) the normalized sum of the amount and percentage indices.
