Interpolated ash layer thickness for the 2007–08 Oldoinyo Lengai eruption. Ash thickness is interpolated using an inverse distance weighting algorithm using thickness data collected in the field (see Fig. 9e), an isopach line of 3 cm around the ash-affected vegetation as obtained from the Principal Component Analysis (Fig. 9) and a constrain of extent of the 1 mm isopach line.
