Large 1 out of 100 eruptions at least this size >  99
Moderate 1 out of 10 eruptions at least this size 90–99
Small 9 out of 10 eruptions this size <  90
  1. The distribution is for eruptions that qualify as an eruption for the purposes of the calculation. For example, at GNS Science an effusive eruption at Whaakari confined to the crater lake would not qualify as an eruption for the application of the VoLREst framework
